When we decided to begin breeding Boer goats, after having purchased them several times, we needed to find a buck. Knowing very little about the species, we relied upon fellow Hoosiers to help us make our first choice. That buck was Cold Comfort JEDIDAIH, a young buck from Wess and Bille Hallman. We bred does to JEDIDAIH for several years and now have a core group of does who are granddaughters and great granddaughters.
Downen P132 is our 3 1/2 year old buck sired by "Pipeline", *ennobled*. His dam is JFL Dello *ennobled*. P132 is the sire of SAF Painted Pretty, the 2005 Junior ABGA National Grand Champion Percentage Doe. He has sired several champion percentage does and wethers for us and still is our main stand-by buck - he produces excellent breed character and lots of show quality offspring.
Downen K204, our 7 year old buck, is "Pipeline" *ennobled's* twin. He has sired several champion percentage does and wethers for us.
RDR Bias is a 2 1/2 year old Ryals Buck. He has 6 ennoblements in his pedigree and his dam is Olds College 9B004.
COLD COMFORT JEDIDAIH is one of the first bucks we used when we started breeding Boer goats.
